Study: FDA Lacks Nanotech Resources

Law360 (October 5, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Though the emerging nanotechnology industry’s impact on human lives is potentially huge, as of now the FDA is not nearly as equipped as it should be to deal with it, according to a report released on Thursday.

The report argues that the FDA is largely unable to regulate the new field because of a lack of necessary resources and gaps in its legal authority.
