Sun Capital Granted Temporary Relief From Receiver

Law360, New York (July 27, 2009, 6:34 PM EDT) -- Sun Capital Inc., a one-time relief defendant in the $550 million fraud case against Florida financier William L. Gunlicks, has won a temporary restraining order that will prevent a receiver from freezing certain of its accounts.

The temporary restraining order, granted Friday by Judge John E. Steele of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, will also stop the funds flowing into those accounts from being redirected to the receiver.
