EU Considers Tweaks To Block Exemption Rules

Law360, New York (July 28, 2009, 7:32 PM EDT) -- The European Commission suggested Monday that guidelines and a block antitrust exemption for product distribution agreements should remain largely intact, as the watchdog called for comments on its proposal to revise current regulations, set to expire in 10 months.

The regulator noted that its experience with the current rules had shown that the guidelines on vertical restraints generally worked well and did not need any major revisions.
