Fed. Circ. Lets EIS Off Hook In Traffic Monitor IP Spat

Law360, New York (July 29, 2009, 3:09 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has upheld a ruling of summary judgment against Wavetronix LLC, a developer of systems for monitoring the flow of automobile traffic on thoroughfares, in a suit accusing rival EIS Electronic Integrated Systems Inc. of infringing a method patent related to the technology.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit on Wednesday found that a lower court had properly granted summary judgment of noninfringement in favor of the defendant.
