Judge Considers Dismissing Trade Espionage Case

Law360 (October 21, 2003, 12:00 AM EDT) -- U.S. District Judge James Ware said Monday he would consider the defense's motion to dismiss a case against two men accused of stealing trade secrets on behalf of the Chinese government, the Associated Press reported.

The judge is likely to issue a written decision on the dismissal within a week, but he reserved every working afternoon in June and July for a jury trial in case he decides it has merit, according to the news service.
