NCMIC Awarded $1.5M In Trade Secrets Case

Law360, New York (July 30, 2009, 7:25 PM EDT) -- Former NCMIC Finance Corp. executive William Artino has been ordered to pay $1.5 million to his former employer for allegedly using confidential information to broker leases with rival companies.

Judge James E. Gritzner of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa on Tuesday found Artino and his lease financing company Pro Funding Group LLC liable for damages on five of six counts alleged in NCMIC's May 2007 complaint.
