NC's 20-Week Abortion Ban Axed Under High Court Precedent
By Danielle Nichole Smith (March 26, 2019, 5:35 PM EDT) -- A North Carolina federal judge has struck down the state's ban on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy in a suit filed by the Center for Reproductive Rights, the American Civil Liberties Union and Planned Parenthood, although he scolded their counsel for not addressing a magistrate judge's concerns about standing sooner.
