Shell, Exxon Face Private Claims Over Wax Cartel

Law360, New York (July 31, 2009, 2:37 PM EDT) -- Royal Dutch Shell PLC and Exxon Mobil Corp. are facing new actions in England from several candle manufacturers who claim they were forced to overpay for shipments of paraffin wax as a result of the long-running paraffin wax price-fixing cartel in Europe.
