FDA Halts Production Of Teva Animal Drugs

Law360, New York (August 3, 2009, 7:06 PM EDT) -- Teva Animal Health Inc. has agreed to cease its production of veterinary drugs until the operating practices at its St. Joseph, Mo., plant meet U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved manufacturing standards.

The FDA filed a complaint for permanent injunctive relief and a consent decree of permanent injunction Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
