INEOS, Ohio EPA Settle Pollution Claims For $3.1M

Law360, New York (August 3, 2009, 6:57 PM EDT) -- Chemical companies INEOS ABS Corp. and the former Lanxess Corp. have agreed to a $3.1 million settlement along with provisions for pollution control and monitoring at their Cincinnati-area facility in an agreement with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio attorney general.

The Ohio EPA and Attorney General Richard Cordray filed the consent decree Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
