Trump Org. Chief Compliance Counsel To Step Down In June

Law360 (April 2, 2019, 10:14 PM EDT) -- The man in charge of legal compliance for the Trump Organization, George A. Sorial, will hand the reins to assistant general counsel Jill Martin in June, the outgoing attorney confirmed to Law360 on Tuesday.

Sorial, who has worked for President Donald Trump's business operation for over a decade, will be leaving to promote a new book he co-wrote, "The Real Deal: My Decade of Fighting Battles and Winning Wars With Trump," according to The Wall Street Journal.

The Journal, which first reported the upcoming change on Tuesday, said Sorial is also expected to take an unofficial role supporting Trump's reelection campaign.
