Sinclair Promotes Deputy GC As Top Atty Takes On New Role
Law360 (April 8, 2019, 4:15 PM EDT) -- Sinclair Broadcast Group on Monday promoted its vice president and deputy general counsel to be its next top lawyer, as its longtime general counsel steps down from his legal responsibilities to focus exclusively on distribution and network relations at the telecommunications company.
David Gibber has taken over as senior vice president and general counsel, and Barry Faber has become president of distribution and network relations, according to Sinclair, which is one of the largest TV broadcasting companies in the country. Both men will report directly to Sinclair president and CEO Chris Ripley.
