Senate Confirms Trump High Court Short-Lister For Judgeship

By Michael Macagnone (April 9, 2019, 9:17 PM EDT) -- The Senate confirmed two more of President Donald Trump's nominees to district courts Tuesday, including a trial court post for Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice Patrick Wyrick, who was on the president's shortlist for a U.S. Supreme Court vacancy.

Justice Wyrick, confirmed 53-47 to the Western District of Oklahoma, and Kittredge LLC managing partner Daniel Domenico, confirmed 57-42 to the District of Colorado, were the first judges confirmed since Republicans voted last week to slash Senate debate time on such nominations.
