Business Groups Push For Green Trade Talks

Law360, New York (August 4, 2009, 3:48 PM EDT) -- Trade groups are urging the Obama administration to pursue multiple avenues to lower trade barriers for green goods and services, even looking beyond the Doha Round of World Trade Organization negotiations if necessary.

The National Foreign Trade Council and other business groups sent a letter to the White House last week urging the administration to seek alternative routes or complementary strategies to the Doha Round of WTO negotiations.
