AAI Weighs In On Chemicals Price-Fixing Case

Law360, New York (October 9, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The American Antitrust Institute asked the Minnesota Supreme Court Friday if it could file an amicus curiae brief in a case it says could have a huge impact on competition law.

The Minnesota Court of Appeals decided the case, which concerns alleged price-fixing in sales of chemicals used to make tires, in August. Attorneys for Diane Lorix, a tire consumer, have asked for the appeals court decision to be reviewed.
