Law360, New York (October 9, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- While Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. has been sued by some of the biggest names in the pharmaceutical industry, the generic drug maker was confronted with a different type of suit Thursday when an ex-employee filed a complaint alleging racial bias at Teva’s U.S.-based arm.
Former Teva payroll manager Sandra Lewis filed the lawsuit in federal court in Philadelphia on Oct. 5, accusing Teva of violating Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
