Chevron's Bid For Legal Fee Ruling Shot Down

Law360, New York (August 5, 2009, 2:04 PM EDT) -- The federal judge overseeing a dispute over legal fees between two energy companies has rejected Chevron USA Inc.'s bid for summary judgment, ruling that it would be premature to take a stand on that issue prior to solving the negligence question at the center of the underlying dispute over oil field waste.
