By Bill Donahue (April 19, 2019, 6:13 PM EDT) -- A company that sells a popular brand of cannabis pipes has quietly become the most litigious trademark plaintiff in the country, filing hundreds of cases in recent years against small retailers that it says are selling counterfeit bongs.
According to data compiled by Lex Machina, a company called Sream Inc. filed 115 new trademark infringement cases in the first quarter of 2019 alone, mostly against individual smoke shops and convenience stores that it says are selling fake versions of Sream's RooR bongs.
