PwC Unit Wins Access To Docs In $1.9B Ukraine Bank Suit
Law360, London (April 24, 2019, 7:49 PM BST) -- A PricewaterhouseCoopers unit has been granted access to London court documents filed in PrivatBank’s $1.9 billion lawsuit against two of the bank's former owners on claims of embezzlement, as the accountancy firm fights its own legal battles in Cyprus with ties to the same alleged fraud.
A Ukrainian PwC unit will be provided with copies of the application notices that Igor Kolomoisky and his business partner Gennadiy Bogolyubov lodged with the High Court in London as they sought to fight off Ukrainian PrivatBank’s claim against them and six companies they allegedly own, according to an order from the court.
