Philly Paramedics Lose Suit To Recover Overtime Pay

Law360 (October 10, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In an upset for paramedics with the Philadelphia Fire Department, a district judge has sided with the city and denied their calls for overtime compensation under federal labor law.

U.S. District Judge Clifford Scott Green granted the city summary judgment in the overtime payment dispute in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Sept. 29.
