Law360 (May 7, 2019, 12:31 PM EDT) -- Venture capital firm Radical Ventures said Tuesday it has launched a $350 million fund that will mainly be used to target artificial intelligence investment opportunities.
Radical Ventures LLC said that the cornerstone investors in the fund include Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, the Public Sector Pension Investment Board, TD Bank Group and Wittington Investments Limited. The firm targets businesses that apply new technology in order to transform industries.
Artificial intelligence will be the backbone of new business models as traditional methods become outdated, according to Radical's managing partner, Jordan Jacobs.
