AIG Loses Bid To Toss Sound Transit Cleanup Suit

Law360, New York (August 10, 2009, 7:20 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has denied American International Specialty Insurance Co.'s bid to toss a lawsuit over the cost of environmental cleanup during transit system construction in Puget Sound, allowing the case to move forward.

Judge John Coughenour of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington on Friday denied the insurance giant's motion to dismiss the case, saying there was enough evidence to continue.
