Legal Industry Rebounds In May, Adds 2,000 Jobs

Law360 (June 7, 2019, 4:35 PM EDT) -- The U.S. added 2,000 legal industry jobs in May, recovering the jobs lost during the previous month and returning to the highest levels seen since the Great Recession, according to data from a new government report.

The legal industry has 1.143 million jobs, according to data released Friday by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, just above the numbers seen in March before an April dip. The numbers are seasonally adjusted and are subject to change in future reports.
