U.S. Trade Commission Judge Rules for Taiwanese Chip Makers

Law360 (October 22, 2003, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Administrative Law Judge on the U.S. International Trade Commission issued an initial determination that Taiwanese semiconductor manufacturers Media Reality Technologies and Trumpion Microelectronics do not infringe one of rival Genesis Microchip's patents, Genesis said in a statement.

Genesis Microchip is seeking an exclusion order from the ITC to ban U.S. imports of Taiwanese chip maker Mstar's MST 9010 series products, MRT's Mascot series products and Trumpion's ZURAC and Zipro series, as well as monitors and boards containing these products.
