Helping Manafort's Kid Get Skadden Gig No Crime, Craig Says

Law360 (May 17, 2019, 10:33 PM EDT) -- Former Skadden partner Gregory Craig urged a D.C. federal court Friday to bar the government from introducing evidence that he helped line up a job at Skadden for the daughter of the now-jailed former chairman of the Trump campaign, Paul Manafort.

Craig didn't deny that he helped Manafort's daughter, Andrea Shand, get a foot in the door at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP in 2012 after Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP collapsed that year amid an accounting scandal, taking Shand's job offer with it.
