Johnny Depp Owes $350K In Legal Fees, Buckley Says
Law360 (May 21, 2019, 12:59 PM EDT) -- Johnny Depp's former law firm Buckley LLP accused the actor in Los Angeles state court on Monday of failing to pay nearly $350,000 in fees for successfully counseling him in a closely watched dispute over the viability of Hollywood handshake agreements.
Buckley, representing itself, recounts in its seven-page complaint how the firm helped secure a judgment last August that an oral agreement in which Depp's longtime attorney received a portion of his earnings was voidable since there was no written contract.
