Insurance Industry Swamped By Litigation: Survey

Law360, New York (October 11, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Though the general amount of litigation all over the world was on the rise this year, the insurance industry in particular suffered from a magnitude of lawsuits, according to a new study by law firm Fulbright & Jaworski LLP.

Fulbright & Jaworski asked 422 corporate counsel worldwide about their top litigation concerns in its third annual survey. The survey spanned multiple topics, from the most prevalent types of lawsuits businesses face to new legal burdens that impact budgets.
