TJ Maxx Sues US Over Gender-Based Duties

Law360, New York (August 17, 2009, 1:19 PM EDT) -- The TJX Cos. Inc., which owns T.J. Maxx and Marshalls stores, has sued the federal government over import duties, alleging the government violated the Fifth Amendment when it charged disparate duties on products targeted to different genders and age groups.
