Pa. High Court To Hear College Labor Dispute

Law360, New York (August 18, 2009, 3:05 PM EDT) -- Pennsylvania's Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case that will determine whether a collective bargaining agreement between higher education workers and the state renders moot claims of bad-faith bargaining made before the new deal.

The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Middle District on Monday granted the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board's petition for appeal.

The state's labor relations board is fighting a Dec. 16 decision in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania to reverse and remand an order the board made dismissing claims against the Pennsylvania State System...
