China Likely Dumping Electric Blankets In US: ITC

Law360, New York (August 19, 2009, 4:13 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has decided to pursue its investigation into imports of Chinese-made electric blankets, finding that China is likely dumping the blankets in U.S. markets.

There is a “reasonable indication” that the sale of Chinese woven electric blankets is harming U.S. industry, ITC Secretary Marilyn R. Abbott said in a notice issued Monday, adding that the commission has decided to move forward and begin the final phase of its investigation.
