Ford Takes US To Court Over Jaguar Import Duties

Law360, New York (August 19, 2009, 1:10 PM EDT) -- Ford Motor Co. has asked the U.S. Court of International Trade to force the U.S. to refund import duties on Jaguar automobiles, saying time has run out for the federal government to finalize the duties and that similar refunds were granted to other car importers.

The company filed its second amended complaint with the CIT on Tuesday, asking the court to compel the government to refund the duties plus interest within 60 days of a final judgment.
