FICO Credit Score Company Sues Credit Agencies

Law360 (October 12, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The company behind the widely used FICO credit score rating, Fair Isaac Corp., has stuck three national credit reporting agencies with an antitrust lawsuit over the launch and marketing of a similar credit scoring model.

The reporting agencies Equifax Inc., Experian Information Solutions Inc., and TransUnion LLC jointly created VantageScore Solutions LLC in March to form a credit scoring model to rival FICO.
