GCs Prepare To Deal With Unwanted New Regs

Law360, New York (August 20, 2009, 12:30 PM EDT) -- General counsel are overwhelmingly opposed to a regulatory crackdown on such things as audit practices and executive pay, but they are prepping for that possibility anyway, according to a survey released Thursday.

The survey, conducted by Corporate Board Member magazine and FTI Consulting Inc., was answered by 240 general counsel and 294 directors at publicly traded companies.
