Alaska Air Wants Hearing On Virgin's Citizenship

Law360, New York (August 21, 2009, 5:15 PM EDT) -- Alaska Airlines Inc. on Friday renewed its request for the U.S. Department of Transportation to conduct a full public hearing on Virgin America Inc.'s citizenship status, saying the carrier is no longer eligible after two main U.S. stockholders gave up their economic rights.
