Antitrust Claims Nixed In Dialysis Clinics' Contract Spat

Law360, New York (August 24, 2009, 2:42 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed American Renal Associates LLC's counterclaims of antitrust violations in a breach of contract dispute brought by rival kidney dialysis clinic operator Total Renal Care Inc., finding that American Renal did not properly define the affected market but giving the company room to amend its allegations.
