Philippines To Ask To Be Removed From USTR Watch List

Law360, New York (March 26, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Philippines is expected to formally ask the U.S. Trade Representative next month to remove the country from the Priority Watch List of countries with severe intellectual property right violations.

The Department of Trade and Industry is expected to make the formal request during a meeting of the Philippines-U.S. Trade and Investment Council meeting, scheduled on April 2.
