McCarthy To Release Secret Docs In Atty Sex Bias Suit

Law360, New York (August 25, 2009, 7:38 PM EDT) -- McCarthy Tétrault LLP will have to turn over a slew of confidential information regarding attorney compensation, billing rates, performance reviews and hiring practices to a former intellectual property attorney who is suing the Canadian law firm for sex discrimination, an Ontario judge has ruled.

McCarthy will have to relinquish the documents to former employee Diane LaCalamita by Sept. 7, according to two endorsements signed by Master Ronna Brott of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
