Suez Environnement Mulls Selling Gas Natural Stake

Law360, New York (August 26, 2009, 3:34 PM EDT) -- The CEO of French drinking water and wastewater company Suez Environnement SA on Wednesday reportedly expressed an interest in finding a buyer for Suez Environnement's 2.5 percent stake in Spanish utility and natural gas supplier Gas Natural SDG SA.

Suez Environnement CEO Jean-Louis Chaussade said during a presentation on the company's first-half earnings that Suez Environnement would sell the stake in Gas Natural as soon as it thought it could get an optimal value for its shareholders, according to a Dow Jones report.
