Insurers, Utilities Clash Over Explosion Coverage

Law360, New York (August 26, 2009, 1:04 PM EDT) -- Facing litigation over a fatal explosion in an electrical vault, Northeast Utilities Service Co. and Connecticut Light and Power Co. are seeking a ruling that St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Co. and Utica Mutual Insurance Co. owe the utilities coverage under policies issued to a contractor.
