McKool Smith Adds Patent Litigator From Dewey

Law360, New York (August 27, 2009, 1:53 PM EDT) -- McKool Smith PC has expanded its Washington office with the addition of an intellectual property litigator from Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP who spent many years as an electrical engineering professor.

Jeffrey I. Frey will be a principal at McKool Smith, where he will work on patent cases involving semiconductor technology, computer security systems and medical devices.

Before attending law school, Frey spent many years teaching electrical engineering, first as a professor at Cornell University and later at the University of Maryland.
