ITC Takes On Honda's Patent Complaint Over Engines

Law360, New York (October 17, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has agreed to investigate claims made by Honda Motor Co. Ltd. that an emerging Chinese engine manufacturer is infringing the Japanese auto maker’s U.S. patents.

After considering Honda’s complaint for two months, the Washington, D.C.-based agency agreed on Monday to launch a Section 337 investigation of products shipped to the United States by China's Wuxi Kipor Power Co. Ltd.
