Verizon Sues Former VP For Signing With Comcast

Law360, New York (October 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Verizon Communications filed a breach of contract lawsuit Tuesday against a vice president who wants to leave the company for a rival even though he signed a non-competition agreement.

Verizon is asking that the court stop Christopher Pizzirani from accepting employment with Comcast Corp. or any other competitor for one year. It also wants the court to ban Pizzirani from disclosing any of Verizon’s proprietary information.
