La. Wants Katrina Recovery Suit Back In State Court

Law360, New York (September 2, 2009, 5:27 PM EDT) -- Louisiana is seeking to remand to state court its suit against Allstate Insurance Co. and other insurers to recover money the state expended under the Road Home program, started in the wake of hurricanes Katrina and Rita to temporarily cover homeowners for property damage.
