Merger To Bolster Firms' Financial Services Practices

Law360 (October 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Reed Smith’s proposed merger with a mid-sized Chicago law firm will add ranks to its financial services practiced team if both firms’ shareholders vote to approve the merger.

Both Reed Smith and Sachnoff & Weaver boast significant financial services practices, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, banking, insurance and reinsurance, leveraged buyouts and refinancing.
