7 BigLaw Firms Step Up In Litigation Push For LGBTQ Rights

Law360 (October 7, 2019, 3:50 PM EDT) -- Seven large law firms have committed to dedicate pro bono resources to a litigation campaign aimed at achieving equality for members of the LGBTQ community, in a joint effort recently announced by nonprofit organization Human Rights Campaign.

Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, BakerHostetler, Linklaters LLP, Sidley Austin LLP, Steptoe & Johnson LLP, Winston & Strawn LLP and Clifford Chance LLP have signed up to partner with Human Rights Campaign to launch strategic litigation aimed at combating discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, HRC announced Friday.
