Swiss Regulator Ordered To Produce UBS Client Info

Law360, New York (September 9, 2009, 3:28 PM EDT) -- Switzerland’s financial regulator reportedly has been ordered to hand over documents to a group of U.S. customers of UBS AG as part of an ongoing legal feud over the disclosure of their account information.

Judge Francesco Brentani of the Federal Administrative Court of Switzerland granted a bid by the plaintiffs — three unnamed UBS account holders — to force the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, or Finma, to produce the redacted documents, Bloomberg reported Wednesday.
