Wachtell, Venable Advise Huntington On $150M Plan

Law360, New York (September 10, 2009, 4:40 PM EDT) -- Huntington Bancshares Inc. has entered into an equity distribution agreement with Goldman Sachs & Co., which the bank holding company says will allow it to issue up to $150 million in common stock.

Huntington entered into the agreement Wednesday, allowing it either to sell shares through Goldman Sachs, which will act as its sales agent, or to Goldman Sachs, which will in turn resell it.
