ITC Names Director Of Investigations Office

Law360, New York (September 9, 2009, 6:55 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has named the chief of its Applied Economics Division to lead the agency's Office of Investigations.

ITC Chairman Shara L. Aranoff announced Wednesday that Catherine B. DeFilippo had been designated the director of the office.

In her new role, DeFilippo will plan and conduct the ITC's import injury investigations under the anti-dumping and countervailing duty provisions of the Tariff Act of 1930, the global and China safeguard provisions of the Trade Act of 1974, and other import injury statutes.
