FTC Nearing End Of Gasoline Inquest

Law360, New York (October 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Federal Trade Commission investigation into the sky-high gasoline prices of last spring is expected to wrap up by the end of 2006, according to an FTC senior attorney.

FTC associate general counsel John Seesel said that the investigation is more of an informal inquiry, unlike the agency’s last gasoline probe, which came in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
