Alston & Bird Cuts Visteon Some Slack On Fees

Law360, New York (September 10, 2009, 5:24 PM EDT) -- Bankrupt auto parts supplier Visteon Corp. has reached an agreement with Alston & Bird LLP that will allow the law firm to continue to prosecute GPS patent litigation on the company's behalf, receiving compensation through contingency fees rather than hourly rates.

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware approved the settlement Sept. 8, ruling that the request was in the best interests of Visteon's estates, their creditors and all other parties of interest, while authorizing the company to take all actions necessary to implement...
